Getting Started
Setting Up Your Good Sleep
Follow these steps in order and you'll be sleeping at your perfect temperature tonight. The whole setup takes about 15 minutes.
Prep your bed and nightstand
Remove your top sheet from the bed and clear a space on your nightstand for the unit. You'll want easy access to the nightstand throughout setup.
Unbox everything
Remove the Good Sleep unit and the mattress topper from their packaging. Set the unit on your nightstand and keep the topper nearby.
Lay the topper on your bed
Spread the mattress topper across your bed. Position it so the connection point — where the hose attaches — is on the side closest to your nightstand.
Connect the unit
Plug in the power cable and connect the topper hose to the unit. The connections are color-coded — match the colors and they'll snap right in.
Remove the protective film
Peel off the clear plastic film from the top of the unit before turning it on.
The film can sit tight — start peeling from a corner for the easiest removal.
Turn on the unit and open the tank
Power on the unit, then remove the top plate to expose the water tank fill point.
The E3 error is normal — don't worry
You'll see the unit flashing an E3 error code. This simply means the tank is empty. It will clear once you add water.
E3 = No water detectedThis is expected and not a malfunction. The error clears automatically once the unit detects water.
Fill with distilled water — slowly
Add distilled water to the tank until you reach the maximum fill marker or the E3 error stops flashing.
Fill slowlyThe unit begins circulating water immediately. Filling slowly allows air to purge from the lines — rushing this step can leave air pockets that affect performance.
Close the tank and replace the top plate
Once the tank is filled and the E3 error has cleared, close the tank and snap the top plate back into place. Your unit is now ready to run.
